Our Story

Simply Stated Houston was founded by organization extraordinaires Amy Maxwell and Cory Posell in January 2015. Amy and Cory met through their husbands in 2001, and immediately forged a lifelong friendship.  They came up with their golden business idea after unpacking and organizing Cory’s new home in December 2014. Seasoned homemakers, they recognized the need and importance of order in a home as well as their passion for helping others, and launched their business. 

To get started, they sent one email to advertise, and the business never stopped coming. What began strictly as an organization company soon expanded to design, renovation, and a variety of other services to improve the lives of their clients. Their ultimate mission is to create peaceful, sacred spaces that enable rest and rejuvenation in the day-to-day.
